Unable to open second browser instance
Problem with "File->New Window" from main menu, and whenever trying to open a new window. Also, Firefox will not open a second window, even when clicking on the short cut.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes). If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears. You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the Safe mode start window to disable all extensions. You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")
Thank you for the diagnostic procedure. It worked, and I was able to isolate the offending plug-in. FYI, and for anyone else who may need this information, the offending plug-in is Steganos Private Favorites, version 11.1.0.8716.

I found the offender to be the Google toolbar.
