What popup? You provided no screenshot of the popup error for others reading to know where that could be coming from.

You should be provided with the opportunity to make an exception. If not, when on the site open the page info window (ctl+i - see below) and on the Permissions tab for Open pop-up windows select Allow. You may have to allow pop-ups for G's main domain as well.
