My firefox is running incredibly slow on certain websites (facebook, Youtube etc) on a very high spec pc. Can't seem to solve it? I've tried resetting/updating.

What happen if you run in Firefox's safe mode and with all plugins disabled. Does that improve ?
- Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode
- Firefox is slow after updating to Firefox 38 Note safe mode should alleviate this, as that turns of HWA temporarily.
Is this after an update of Firefox if so check security software and its settings
Please also describe what you mean by incredibly slow, and when this happens ? Presumably Firefox has worked ok previously ? Is IE fast still ? Do you get any error messages ? Do you notice odd processes running, high CPU or high memory usage. (Firefox Windows Release is currently only a 32bit program, so even though you are on a 64bit machine Firefox may not be able to access all your memory)
