Hi JZ, first a disclaimer, I am a Windows/Android person so I don't know how Safari works. Does this happen when you are inside Safari and you tell it to pull data from your Firefox files? The Master/Primary Password is only used on saved logins, so it shouldn't affect your ability to transfer bookmarks. If you skip over that request, do you still get the bookmarks, or the import doesn't do anything? Another option for transferring bookmarks would be export/import. All browsers can read an ancient "bookmarks.html" (HTML file) format.
