Posts are made with mistakes even though I correct it with the spell checker.

My spell checker changes the word; however when I hit the send or post button it shows the mistake. What am I doing wrong? It only does it with words that are corrected using the spell checker. It has happened in Facebook and Yahoo! Mail. I also notice that if I stop typing mid-word and come back to it the last half of the word become underlined.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
