Whenever I click on the Mozilla icon and the internet comes on, I begin to type a search question or try to type in my password to access my email, I lose Mozilla and have to start the process once again. Why does this happen every time I access Mozilla?

This could be related to a problem with the Flash player on Windows 7. When the Flash player fires up for the first time (or after all Flash players have been closed for at least 3 minutes), for some yet-to-be-determined-reason, your current Firefox window loses focus. I think the only known workaround that would apply to your home page is to disable the "protected mode" of the Flash plugin.

I think some other users might be working around this by preventing Flash from even loading until they click to start it. This might require an add-on.
