Just installed the latest Firefox update (14.0.1) and wtf is this: http://i.imgur.com/p3nuI.png

For the love of all that is unholy, help me get rid of that location bar auto fill feature. I WANT to keep the drop down menu of my history, but I DO NOT WANT it to auto fill my location bar. I refuse to use any browser that does this to my location bar.

Chosen solution

nevermind. I found it out myself.

Disabling Firefox’s Awesome bar URL Autocomplete feature

1. Type about:config in the address bar and press enter.

2. Find "browser.urlbar.autoFill” preference and set its value to “False”.

I am more interested in finding out why this suddenly started happening for me half an hour ago. I can. not. get. my location bar to stop auto-filling. Just a minute ago it started filling in an internet radio website I have not listened to for over a week. I have done the Tools-Options , select "Nothing" rigamarole over and over and over, nothing stops my location bar from filling itself in with suggestions.
