I'm using Firefox 3.6.3 in a G5 iMac (OS X 10.4); when I wanted to upgrade to 3.6.15, I received the message «The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient privileges for some of the items». But I am the administrator and have disabled the password for Open Firmware and allowed cookies, &c. What more do I need to have the new version of Firefox?=

  • Download a new copy of the Firefox program: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html
  • Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re)install.
  • Install the new version that you have downloaded.
