My wife & I I have 2 TB profiles for one instance of Thunderbird and 2 Firefox profiles for one instance of Firefox, all on one computer. I had to restore my wife's TB profile from back-up. Now when my TB launches FF, it opens my wife's FF. How and where do I correct that so my TB launches my FF.

Chosen solution

Thunderbird is not capable of specifying a Firefox profile. Firefox controls which profile is used https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profile-manager-create-remove-switch-firefox-profiles

Wayne: Is there a setting)s) in about:config where the Firefox profile to be used by Thunderbird is specified? Or is it specified in the TB profile and if so where?

Wayne: I went to about:profiles and found that my Firefox profile was not set as default. I changed that to default. Thunderbird now opens my Firefox profile rather than my wife's. so this question is resolved. Thanks for the input
