I have been using Thunderbird for a few years, on a desktop Mac Mini. I have my in-box set, and I have created folders to store various e-mails. I have just installed Thunderbird on my laptop MacBook Pro. I can access my inbox; however, I cannot see my folders that I have created on my desktop Mac Mini. Is it possible for me to view and access these folders, on my MacBook Pro's Thunderbird?

Thank you!

Did you add the account as POP or IMAP (Server Type in Account Settings)? POP downloads only the Inbox, while IMAP can download all folders. If the laptop setup is IMAP and you can't see the folders, right-click the account in the Folder Pane, Subscribe..., Refresh, subscribe (check) the folders.

If the account is POP and you want to switch to IMAP:

If the desktop is POP, the folders can be copied manually to the laptop.
