Hi, Following the update on my thunderbird emails yesterday (16th) I have been unable to send and receive any emails, i am continually getting a message asking me to enter password which I am doing but it tells me login failed, I know I am using the correct password. I have 2 email thunderbird accounts for my business and they are both doing the same, Also my emails on mobile (outlook) is also asking me for password and failing to log in. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Thunderbird, restarted mobile and laptop but still no luck. Please help, I am a total technophobe so simple instruction would really be appreciated :) Many thanks

1st, verify that your server settings are correct, especially the Security Settings. You'll get these from your e-mail provider.

2nd, if that doesn't resolve the issue, check the Help and/or Support site for info on Profiles and using the Profile Manager. There may be a corruption in your user profile that is carrying over to new installations which is why removing and re-installing might not resolve the issue. The idea is to create a new test profile and see if that resolves the problem. (then migrate your settings to the new profile)

So both accounts are outlook? If not outlook, which provider?
