I have the same problem , I have changed over to imap from pop3 for my incoming mail. Although the POP3 never had a problem with incoming mail . My problem is the SMTP is going in circles asking for my password on all outgoing SMTP request. This is not only happening on 1 PC It is happening on both of my laptops. I have changed my password twice. I have deleted my password manager twice. No change. Unfortunatly by changing over to the imap did not rid the SMTP for outgoing service.I have aol.com service via verizon.net. This started 3 days ago. I can down load my messages no problem. I cannot send any messages without the server asking for my password. But not everytime? I would say 2 out of 10 attempts it goes thru with no problems the other 80% of the time I must re-enter the password everytime. and sometimes that doesn't work either. I must try, try and try again. Really becoming a pain. Can anyone help? Thanks. Zep
