How can I receive the latest Quicktimestartup?

I need to use a website that only plays Quicktime Videos. Firefox does not allow me to views the videos stating I must update Quicktime, but when I try to update to the latest Quicktimestartup app, it never downloads for me to install. I have Windows 8.on my computer. I've been to Apple and that does not download either.
