I live in the UK and recently when going to the BBC.co.uk I get the website as BBC.com after a few seconds. I know that I usually see .com when overseas and this is normal. Why has this started happening while I am still in the United Kingdom?

I love Firefox and use it for more than a decade now. Problem is that filetypes .mp4 and .mp3 are automatically opened and played in Firefox. How to change that to be downloaded? In the Settings>General>Appliations the extension MP4 and MP3 do not show up...

Hi, i would like to set my pdf handling as follows

1. When opening a pdf link, i need the file to open in browser, don't want it to download 2. When opening from download history, i want it to open in my pdf software

I believe this was the default in old firefox(some years ago). Currently if i set it to open in browser, point 1 will work but 2 won't (i have to right click and choose "open in xx app") if i set it to always open in other app, 2 will work but 1 won't. Back then i tried some settings which downloads the file to temp folder and open from there, i don't want that (not needed the file in download history) pls let me know if there is a solution. Thanks

since fire fox update i keep getting log in errors as below with a different number

Is it possible to view SVG with a dark background? For example in the picture, the SVG has a transparent background, and I would like it if Firefox's background was dark so I can see the text.

Basically the subject! suddenly was unable to watch ANY youtube video. I cleared my cache 2x, restarted firefox, started it up again in safe mode, nada. I was only able to use youtube in Chrome. Any ideas on waht it might be? I'm stuck in the eternal buffering wheel of "If your video doesn't start soon, try restarting your device".

I have been a Firefox fan and user for quite a few years now, but after a recent upgrade some bad things started to happen. Firstly a "Gah. Your tab just crashed" message when I tried to access my Facebook page, been fine for years, next random shutdowns every day or so of my Win 10 PC, only occurs when browsing on Firefox. Have just about abandoned for Chrome, no shutdowns after a week. What happened?

I accidentally reset password for my Mozilla account and now I lost my saved passwords, I have the backup key and old Firefox data, How can i get my lost passwords?

I've been experiencing a rather "unusual" issue: My Firefox up until version 116.0b8 worked perfectly fine; however, after any updates to versions beyond that, it stopped working.

I've tried the final versions and the betas, but nothing works. I attempted reinstallation and everything else, but I couldn't solve the mystery and remain stuck on version 116.0 beta 8.

What's happening? Every time I try to load a page on any version above 116.0, it either doesn't open or keeps loading in a loop. Yet, if I use another browser or revert to version 116, everything works correctly. This issue does not occurs in others machines.

Has anyone experienced something similar?
