Need procedure to up date email that has been transferred to Yahoo from Cox.net Cox stated I can keep my email address and emails will come in through Yahoo. I do not have a Yahoo account which is separate from the Cox.net email address

Need procedure to keep Thunderbird as email contact for emails. Confused!! Please define how to get back to original system of using Thunderbird and automatically open up my emails. Thx

I have tried repeatedly to delete certain local folders but either they won't delete or just come back after restart

I have even gone into the file explorer under the profile-mail-local folder's and done the deletes but still they come back

What am I missing?

So I have Thunderbird 128.0esr (64-bit) installed on Ubuntu 24; I have found a strange issue when I try to send emails with attachments. In this scenario, I scan files in from my scanner to a network folder, and then copy that file from the network folder to a final location, where I chose from Thunderbird to "attach"

If Thunderbird has been opened prior to the document being scanned and created in the first network folder, if I try to attach it to a email, it does, however, when I try to send I get a error "I do not have permission to access that file"; Strange. I close out Thunderbird, re-open, and try to send the file again, and BOOM, no issues with file permissions. I have replicated this many times.

Any ideas? I have tried running "thunderbird" in console to see if any debug information shows up, it does not. And yes, "closing the program and reopening it all-things-equal" always fixes the problem.

When I visit U Tube and click on a video it never loads. I get the rotating circle but it never completes. If i click on the progress bar at the bottom a small window opens the video at that point, bur it never loads. I have removed all add ons, refreshed Firefox, rebooted the computer. It only happens on this computer. I run Firefox on two other computers and they work fine. I run windows 11, updated on a year old Dell Pavilion laptop with 32 mgs of ram

AFter verizon.net email addresses moved to aol, I had initial setup difficulty in TB, but after fixing that it's worked for years. Three days ago it stopped downloading. Usual error message is an aol server timeout, sometimes a "TB is processing this account, please wait." I've tried to reboot, re enter pw, and other simple measures, but nothing seems to work. Still downloads fine w/in aol and on my iphone and ipad, but I prefer this account on pc (latest Win Home). (I expect to finish closing out the address out in a few months, but it's a slow process). Any advice appreciated. Thank you for your help.

I enter my password but it tells its wrong. I have checked and double checked it, its the only password I have and it will not accept it. What do I do? I'm very bad at computer operations, I don't know the language or terminology. Can you help me out? Alt: e-mail, paulsporle@gmail.com

I click answer I get white text on white. I cannot read this text and I am not sure if the receiver can.

Why does this happen, what are the steps to prevent this. Why is Thunderbird doing this?

Hey guys, the client I work for provided my with MS account to be used for communication. Since I am on Linux, these two things doesn't really bond well :) I was using mostly web access for MS Teams and Outlook OWA ...

However, I figured that I would love to try Thunderbird for at least emails (so I got them all my email at one place)...

After some discussion with client's ITHD (after they changed my license to E3 type) I managed to get the email working - so I can send and receive emails ... However, I cannot see the calendar so it's still almost useless for me for I don't see meeting request.

Any idea how to fix that? did any of you guys face the same?

I am running Mac Big Sur, 11.7.10. When I am in Firefox version 127.0.2 and I go into any Google search, the tab crashes. It works in private browsing mode and also in other browsers but not in non-private browsing in Firefox. I have tried disabling extensions, add ons, etc. Nothing seems to help. This started happening a few weeks ago with any YouTube page also. How can I fix this? If I can't I will stop using Firefox as I cannot function like this. Please advise!

I am a long time Thunderbird user, first use dates back to version 0.3 (yes I am very old :) ). Recently I have started my own domain and introduced a few new mail addresses. Every new mail address I define, comes at the bottom of the list of mailboxes. And now that my old mail address is no longer used, I would like it to the bottom of the list. I have not found how to do that. Can you explain how I can achieve this? Environment Win 10 22H2, Thunderbird 115.13.0 (64-bit). Thanks!

I am reaching out to gain information on ADMX GPO policies. We are retiring Policy Pak which used to add all the policies and secure Firefox for Enterprise. What we noticed is that Policy Pak used the app set to apply these policies and we are noticing that native GPO's for the most part to match the Policy Pak policies is not as accurate for GPO's My ask here is there any Most Viable Product suggestions to apply Native GPO's for securing Firefox.

However, this only happens after a while. If I restart my computer, my Firefox will completely log me out of everything and I'll be able to connect to the internet for a while, until one day it doesn't. This typically happens to me once every 2 weeks, although it happened to me after 1 day this week between restarts. I tried the steps to remove the proxy but that doesn't work. Is there anyway to resolve this issue overall so I don't have to constantly restart? I am able to access the internet through safari and chrome currently. I am on Firefox 128.0.2.

Hello, Our DNS supports SVCB and HTTPS records. We setup HTTPS is alias mode and want to redirect a HTTPS connection from Host_A to Host_B. Here a example: communication.baloise.be. 30 IN HTTPS 1 communicationbaloisebe.customdomain.chkmkt.com.

I can see that the Firefox sent a HTTPS request, got back the correct answer, but does not connect to the new host B. A lot people required that DNS support SVCB /HTTPS records, but the browsers do not.

When will Firefox support the Alias mode for SVCB / HTTPS Records?

Hi, when using my iPad Pro, Firefox allow the movie files to be downloaded, but failed to open the window/tab to save the files. Please see the attached. This is after I hit download button and the movie has downloaded, then the screen look like this. I have already do the “restart” and Clear Cach”…and try to login and search for all the areas in “setting”…please help!
