Hi! My computer hung and upon restarting it and starting up Firefox, a new session was automatically opened instead of the normal page that gives the option of restoring the last-viewed windows and tabs. My history and cookies are still intact though, so is there any way to access those windows and tabs?

Thanks!

Are relying on "Save and Quit" to reopen the previous session or are you using "Show my windows and tabs from last time" ?

If you use the latter then Firefox should have opened that session unless there is a problem with the file sessionstore.js in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Firefox > Preferences > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

Thanks for the reply. It's the latter case, and the "Show my windows and tabs from last time" was already ticked. Is there a way to retrieve the previous session then? Thanks!
