More advanced notification settings?
I want to use thunderbird both for my personal mail and work mail, but I don't want to carry my work with me 24/7 so I don't want to be bothered by email notifications or "unread messages" indicators when I'm off work.
Right now it seems like I can only disable these things for the app as a whole, not per account, but I do want those notifications and indicators 24/7 for my personal account. Are there any more advanced controls for creating rules for how and when new and unread emails are notified to me on a per account basis?

Alright, thanks! Hopefully it's something the devs will consider for the future, I doubt I'm alone in wanting separate notification rules for my work mail and personal mail!
Consider having separate profiles for work and personal accounts, and launch one, or both, at the appropriate time. Help/Troubleshooting Info, about:profiles, to create and manage profiles. There is also a Profile Switcher add-on.
