how to stop sites to automatically download?
Many unwanted files gets downloaded with false links. How can i make firefox to ask whether to download files or not?

On a legitimate website you should be asked if you wish to download a file.
If you are having pages trying to download files without your permission, swipe down from the top of the screen, and cancel the download. If these are pages you use regulary, you may wish to use a different, safer alternative.
