Why does Firefox only have "Community support"? Would be nice to actually hear from the devs and not speculation from random users on the internet

When I buy a TV and I have a problem, I call phone the manufacturer and they will ascertain my issue and offer a solution. Same thing when I buy a car or download certain software but not Firefox, is there no help from the actual devs? Online communities are great if you just want someone 6 weeks from now posting a comment in respect to your question (9-10 times it won't be a solution, just a comment offering their view on your question). So how come? Is there no one? You sent me to a "Survey" which offered a sliding scale to see if I was satisfied - huh? What info does that get you - do a real survey. Will Firefox ever have actual human beings to interact with users?

And you paid how much to use Firefox on desktop, iOS and Android?

Mozilla does not have the resources to provide call centres that would be needed to do one on one support by phone, chat or email especially since it would be for free.

Companies that provide one on one support by phone, email and or chat is generally for paid for products.

The developers would get little work done if they were spending much of their time doing support, more so one on one support.

Uh huh... perhaps the business model could use paid support whereby users have the option. You're response precisely denotes the issue to which I refer. Would appreciate someone who is employed by this company but alas, only an army of individuals who are not affiliated with the line of products.

Mozilla has attempted some paid for support options for the desktop web browser at times in the past years ago but none were really were popular enough to warrant to keep doing it or to try attempts since then.

The browser we know as Firefox was originally Phoenix from 0.1 to 0.5 and Firebird from 0.6 to 0.7 and the Firefox from 0.8 to present. The changes were to Phoenix Bios and Firebird SQL already existing. In case you wonder why Firebird is mentioned in articles.

Mozilla does not charge for downloads, upgrades or technical support, and does not endorse any company that does. Companies that ask for payment or personal information for installing, updating or providing support for Firefox are not affiliated with Mozilla and should be avoided.
