How do I POP download Gmail

I have created a new Gmail Label for my old e-mails and migrated those e-mails over to that new label leaving only 2016 messages in my Gmail Inbox. I then click Get New Messages in TB (latest ver) and it downloads messages from 2014 - no messages from 2016 - ever. How do I make TB recognize my 2016 messages in my Gmail Inbox account so TB will POP download them?

I'm running Windows 7.

is pop set for all, or just from a certain date? My pop on Gmail still has some date specified.
