Why No Favourites ToolBar Visible On Start Screen

So after waiting YEARS for this to exist I finally download it and install and sync to my firefox account and wait for the favourites bar to display. Nope not there, after reading the how to section it appears you have to undergo a 3 part process ( select star icon/ select desktop bookmarks/select bookmarks toolbar ) to reveal them ! So Safari can display its favourites toolbar why not Firefox ? Maybe I have missed some display setting but I dont think so.

Ironically I wont use Safari on my mac as Apple refuse to implement favicon icons for their favorites bar but Firefox does. Sigh when will we get the perfect browser ? Maybe I should go and look at Chrome ?

Well I think it was obvious a favourites toolbar was an essential - no matter I went and tried Chrome and they also dont do favourites toolbar but I did try chrome on my mac and WOW its so much better than firefox. So anyway well done you just lost a loyal customer of over 5 years - its still safari for the ipad but lovin my new super fast chrome browser on the mac and so many great extensions too. Bye !
