Moving TBird data to a new computer seems to address email, but not address book. How do I migrate an address book?
I got a new PC and want to migrate my Thunderbird address book from a Windows Vista to an 8.1 computer. The help topics talk of a Windows easy transfer utility that doesn't appear to be on 8.1. Moving the profile appears only to move email, not addresses. What's the easiest way?

Your profile includes your Address Book, so copying your profile should preserve your stored addresses. You say that it doesn't appear to copy address books. Is this comment based on experience, or is it an opinion formed from what you've read about the profile?
Your profile is essentially a folder and all the files and subfolders inside it. It can be copied using the usual tools for file copying, namely Windows Explorer in your case. You don't need any fancy tools or procedures.
