Hello everyone,

Today, I installed a smart card system and configure my thunderbird to log on with it.

But after the PIN check, it asks me a password for my imap server.

However, when I was on a similar client, no password needed, the certificate auth did the job.

The server part is 100% good. Any idea on why it keeps asking for a password ?

What authentication method do you have set for the account?

Does the server support that method of Authentication?

Do you have an anti virus that has set itself up as a proxy to scan mail and the proxy is still on password?
