Even by forcing the full path of the program, I CANNOT open the profile manager, even after rebooting.

I am trying to create a new Firefox user profile, and even after rebooting my computer, I cannot open the profile manager (even by specifying the full path, as seen below): "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -Profile Manager

I AM entering this in the Run dialog, and it either opens the firefox browser itself or it does nothing at all. This is getting seriously frustrating.

You have included a space between Profile and Manager that may be the problem.

I am not a Vista user, so this is largely guesswork.

You will also need to make sure firefox is not somehow running even if unseen, use task manager. Presumably you will need to be in an administrator account, and may need to change UAC setting.

-Profile Manager should be one word: -ProfileManager or -P should work
