A question about Thunderbird address book.
Since I too am having many problems with passwords I wonder if I were to reinstall TB if that would solve the problem. Is there any way to save my contacts before I do a reinstall so that my contacts/addresses are easily replaced after the reinstall? Or am I not going to fix the password problem by doing a reinstall?

I prefer the csv option, as it can be easily manipulated in a spreadsheet app if desired.

You could highlight the addressbook, click the three dots to the right and export a copy that could later be imported.
Hi David and thanks for your reply. Which import format or formats should I use? I see several options.
