In my MS Windows 11 system in control panel, Apps > Default apps. Firefox is listed twice. In both of these there are these two separate listings: ".htm" and ".html". Below both these listing it says: "Firefox" "Firefox HTML Document"

Question: Can I remove/delete/uninstall one of these Firefox's? Question: Should I remove/delete the ".htm" and just leave the ".html"?

Hope this makes sense. Thank you for your help.

This about what app to open if you double-click a file or otherwise open a file with a specific file extension in the default browser. There are likely more file extensions that are linked to Firefox and there is no need to worry or take action unless you want to open specific files in another browser or application. For instance Firefox can handle PDF files and you may want to open such files in another application like Adobe Reader.
