How can I copy files in the firefox "M Gmail" browser to my thunderbird Mail browser?

I am recovering my thunderbird browser after reinstalling it. Before the reinstall, thunderbird was full of the apps currently in my firefox "M Gmail", but the reinstall left thunderbird empty.

I have entered the folder names from "M Gmail" into thunderbird, but I can't seem to copy the "M Gmail" folder contents to thunderbird.

During my ~3 week absence from gmail, several users have emailed me suggestions as to how to get back on the internet; I will answer them in time, but I'd rather send them thunderbird emails.

I am unfamiliar with whatever "M Gmail " is. Maybe if you provide more information, I (or someone else) can provide some assistance. I use Gmail regularly, but what you're describing I don't understand. Thank you.
