Hi

I guess this applies for any web browser, but is there an option to disable this with Firefox...? Basically, whenever my BT connection goes offline, Firefox decides to take it upon itself to open up just to tell me it can't connect/that the web is offline etc. It's seriously annoying. I know it's offline as the hub light will change from blue to green/orange etc. It's even worse if I'm doing something else, such as playing on a game, and it's interrupted by the web browser opening itself. :-\

Any suggestions? Thanks.

I have never experienced Firefox starting of its own accord. The heading Network Detection in the first link below seems to relate to the browser when it is running, NOT when it is closed, but perhaps the following heading Malware is relevant. The second link relates to malware. The third link relates to troubleshooting generally. I suspect you have a malware issue or something of that kind.
