I was using Firefox Android and hit the "clear cache" button for the app in order to see if it can fix a page rendering problem. However, after I do so and return to Firefox, all my browsing session data are now LOST. Please put browsing session data in app data session instead of cache session of android app to prevent it from happening again. User would never expect that hitting the "cache clear" button would result in data lost.

The "clear cache" button for the app erases all cached Firefox data from the OS perspective. It has no visibility of the actual browser cache. If you want to clear the browser cache use 'clear cache' from within the Firefox app. https://support.mozilla.org/kb/clear-your-browsing-history-and-other-personal-data

I was going to clear the cache of the app from the OS perspective, and I don't expect Firefox android treat session data as a "cached data".
