I want a taskbar shortcut to youtube from mozilla. I want to drag a tab or url to the taskbar, to pin the shortcut to the url there. I can do it with IE, but I don't use IE, since My Firefox Adblock Plus works PERFECTLY with youtube.

I will not set my Firefox home page to be youtube, and just pin Firefox to the taskbar. Even thought that would *technically* work, I want to be able to pin a link, not the app. 1 Why is this possible with IE but not Firefox? 2 What do I need to fix (change) so I can pin a youtube FF LINK to my Win 8 taskbar, please?

Why would you want to have something that is always running. The Taskbar is Windows and not Firefox.

You can go to the site you want in the Address Bar and then grab the URL near the Padlock and drag it to just below the Address Bar and drop it. This area is called the Bookmarks Toolbar. It can be accessed all the time or hidden or find in Bookmarks as Bookmarks Toolbar Menu Folder.

If the toolbar is hidden go to any blank place at the top of the browser and right click, tick Show Bookmarks Toolbar.
