scroll bar disappeared from right side of my email
scrolling option has disappeared from my email messages. I have checked all the options but can't find an answer

Are you talking about: 1. The Message List scroll bar enabling you to go up and down the list? or 2. The scrollbar in the Message Pane when wanting to read an email ?
Does it appear if you resize the window by making it wider?

Restart Thunderbird with add-ons disabled (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click on "Restart with Add-ons Disabled". If Thunderbird works like normal, there is an Add-on or Theme interfering with normal operations. You will need to re-enable add-ons one at a time until you locate the offender. .
Sorry that didn't work. I hit a key and it just disappeared
have you actually got enough email to require a scroll bar?
I get on an average 400-500 emails a day

What OS are you using ?
I have heard, but not totally sure, that if using a MAC and Full screen mode, that scrollbars can disappear. Would you happen be in Full Screen Mode ?
