gmail not opening
Hello! 7 days ago, Google's gmail failed to open its standard html page on my Firefox 3.6 installation. I've tried fixing the error by doing the following:
- testing gmail in Safari (works fine) - disabling google labs - checking connections (4 different connections are working fine) - clear history, cookies, & cache - installing Firefox 7.0.1 - attempt to delete corrupt extension files as suggested by mactechforums.com, but these files are not stored in the place as described by the troubleshooting directions--couldn't find them at all (files were: - exported bookmarks, then deinstalled & reinstalled mozilla
I've attempted to pick up on other folks who may be experiencing this problem--nothing as recent as the past two weeks that can offer a solution. I strongly dislike Safari & Google's Chrome, so hope we can figure this out! Thanks a bunch! I really appreciate any ideas you have. -Kierie.

Is this the problem you have ...
GMail entire message content missing (blank) after header title
In Firefox, if you have "Adblock Plus" extension.
- "Ctrl+Shift+F" Preferences (or right click on ADP symbol, and choose preferences)
- 'Filters' menu > "Update all subscriptions"

The content for replies here is basically as wiki format, spaces at the beginning of a line indicate coding so you see a fixed font. Instead of using hyphens at beginning of list items use asterisk or # sign. The 3 indicates a numbered list item.
also upgrade your browser to Firefox 8
