I can't open a new tab anymore, just in the last few days, by clicking the "plus" sign - I have to open a whole new window. Firefox is up to date.
Last week my "new tab" ability has quit working, both from the tab on top of the page or even going in to file, new tab. I have to open a new page every time. I have reinstalled firefox and that has not helped.

hello ctoles, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here... (another user reported that the ask toolbar might cause this problem)

Thank you. I "knew" I didn't have an ASK toolbar and even searched my add/remove programs and didn't fine one when I saw that other post, so I checked my other add-ons....the dictionary.com toolbar I had was connected with ASK, so it's now removed and problem solved. Thank you!
