I'm using Firefox on Android and I'm having trouble clearing cookies in the following situations:

- When browsing in private mode, after closing all my private tabs and closing Firefox - When browsing in private mode and turning on 'Delete Browsing Data on quit', and quitting by pressing the quit button - When browsing in private mode and manually clearing cookies with 'Delete Browsing Data's

I know cookies haven't been cleared because I'm still logged in to websites in private mode after performing the above actions and restarting Firefox. I need to close and restart Firefox multiple times before cookies are actually cleared.

I have not tried this in regular (non-private) mode.

Could I get help with clearing cookies consistently?

I accidentally deleted Firefox Data (Local Storage ) instead of Cache So when I try to login to sites not able to login( Lost all Passwords)But I sync everytime Whenever Password used in Sites (default Sync is On) ,Please Help me to get All my Passwords

When changing the login password in Firefox, I can select the "Use strong password" option, but the password automatically generated by Firefox will use characters that cannot be used as password (such as symbols), and the system will not accept the "new" password generated by Firefox, so the Firefox's automatic password generation will be wasted. There are very few sites that embed allowed character types as a password on password changing page, so is it possible to manually specify the character type or re-edit the generated password?

Ho un samsung S21 e da quando Firefox si e' aggiornato alla versione 140.0.3, andando indietro non ci sono piu' le pagine che ho cercato. Vorrei quindi tornare alla versione precedente, e' possibil? Qualcuno mi dice come si fa? Grazie.

When I use browser for Android mobile phone it simply can not open new tabs for browsing. I have to open some adverts so it could open new tab. In the settings option there is no button or command where I could fix that

I run Fx140.0.4 on my Samsung Galaxy S24, and I have two issues:

1. When opening a map on posten.no (Norwegian postal service), the map display shows up as diagonally mirrored top left to bottom right, with the left/lower part shown correct and the right part being a perfect mirrored image along the diagonal. The map is driven by ESRI

1. When using https://globe.adsbexchange.com/, some aircraft symbols are distorted, see attached screenshot

Is this a known behaviour to Firefox for Android? In Google Chrome I don't see these flaws.

Punch through bug causes activation of a lower layer object instead of the visible object. Textbox can move to evade text input. Most prominent on facebook, probably poor programming on their part, maybe to a non complied (by other browsers) standard. 2 very annoying, problem bugs

Screenshot 1 is from a podcast where tapping pause or skip can unexpectedly activate the episode behind the floating bar, leaving the desired episode. This could be improper markup or style on the part of talkstreamlive dot com or a Firefox flaw. Screenshot 2 is from the bug ridden kingdom of Facebook. Entering a comment or reply can be a nightmare. I workaround using the address bar for scratch then cutting, returning if facebook doesn't leave, and pasting, avoiding the squirrelly behavior avoiding input attempts. This is almost certainly their fault, IMHO. Perhaps Mr. Selfenfull could benefit from some guidance. The comment textbox floats above the previous comments by others, appears to be related, and may after all be a Firefox bug. Desktop Firefox has no problem. Thanks and good luck. Set up 2fa you have 30 sec to type the 6 digit # on screen then it ask to verify it AGAIN:

 if you type the same # you used it says wrong, If you type the new # that is now show it say wrong.

So, you never get 2fa to finish:

2fa does not stop its count down & FF is not excepting new #, loop

Just thought I'd report this because it appears to be a consistent, reasonably long-standing issue (months) on a popular news site. Or is it "just me"?

Expected behaviour: I am able to open links and download files on this website as backround tabs and continue browsing.

Actual behaviour: 1. After a couple are opened, Firefox for Android hangs for very close to 30 seconds then does a deep redraw/repaint of all tabs and continues to function until I next try to open another background tab from that website. 2. During the hang tab interface continues to redraw, but the pages are not repainted and no taps events work. 3. At the end of this hang time, the pages appear to redraw from scratch and the context pop-up for the third long-press appears on top of whichever tab I was looking at.

It is 100% repro for me -- long-press fails when attempting to open the 3rd background tab, but repaint failure occurs earlier. There is something toxic happening.

Curiously, when I next view my Android Home screen, there is some sort deep refresh/repaint, as if it has been swapped-out or GC'd etc.

e.g. Is there some massive memory blow-out happening?

Context/workarounds: 1. I have tried clearing all browsing data and using a guess account on the phone. 2. I have no addons installed. 3. Neither Chrome nor FF Desktop exhibit this behavior. This is FF Android specific

Hi. I realised that a couple weeks ago bookmarks on my Samsung S24 Ultra stopped syncing. Bookmarks added, edited, moved or deleted on the phone since then don't change elsewhere and vice versa. Other devices (two Windows computers) sync just fine. I changed nothing in the settings nor did any other important changes I'm aware of. Passwords, history and tabs sync correctly. I tried going with this on my Android Firefox app: uncheck syncing everything -> log out from Firefox account -> force stop Firefox -> clear app cache -> restart phone -> start Firefox -> log in to Firefox Account -> check syncing everything -> force sync. Didn't help. I didn't clear app data or reinstall the app because I would lose all the bookmarks I added there recently. The only way I see is to look through all the bookmarks in my phone and add them manually on the PC, then reinstall the app - which would be as painstaking as it sounds. I switched to Firefox Beta and it syncs just fine (some minor changes I've noticed compared to the basic app are rather annoying but negligible). Any tips? Cheers, Rafau

So every time Firefox has an update for my tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, 64GB SM-X200, Android 14, One UI 6.1) the settings always, ALWAYS reset. I have to go back in and change everything back to my preferences. I've cleared cache, restarted who knows how many times and it still happens.

I have Firefox on other devices, both Samsung and otherwise, and it doesn't happen anywhere but my tablet.

Ideas? Suggestions?
