It opens a page that says I've asked FF to connect securely to us.mg4.mail (name of server) a page that we cannot confirm is secure.

It does this every time I try to open my Yahoo email. After trying it a few times my email finally opens.

Hello,

It is difficult to asses your problem until one can actually see what the screen says. However, as of now, I would recommend that you check whether your system time is correct. In other words, check whether the clock in your computer is showing the time correctly or not.

Sometimes these kind of problems come up when the clock is shows wrong time.

Thanks for using Firefox.

Hello,

From the picture you posted, there is no more doubt that the problem is caused by the incorrect time in your system clock.

Thank you for using Firefox.

My display clock and date at the rt side bottom of my screen displays correctly. But my email timing is way off. It is several hours off when it shows the incoming and outgoing mail time. Is that the same clock problem you're talking about? Yahoo shows me in the correct time zone but displays the wrong time by several hrs in my email.

What does it say under the technical details if you expand this section?

Does it help if you use this URL?

If you use a bookmark to open a specific page on the Yahoo server to access the mail then try to navigate to that page starting with the main Yahoo page or the sign in page in case this bookmark is currently broken.
It is usually best to avoid bookmarking such pages as they can easily get broken if changes are made on the server.

To esorami -

Had the problem you described, of emails received with timestamps being several hours off, and consistently the same number of hours off.
This was found to be due to Yahoo! mail having lost my correct Time Zone.

Sign into your oldest Yahoo.com profile, click My Account, and click through to view your Time Zone setting for email.

Change back to your own Time Zone, and save that setting in the Yahoo webpage. If the Time Zone setting was wrong, but is now correct, your emails will start flowing with the correct timestamps.

  I hope this was helpful.
