i updated firefox. now i can't download vids from websites. the download button does not appear

an update option opened up when i started firefox so i updated it. now i don't get the "download" button when i move the curser over a video on a website. how do i get that feature working again? if i need to tell you what version i am now using, how do i find that also? thank you!
