Cache viewer for FF4.0, when will be available thanks

more options

Hello, I am missing very much the Cache viewer now that FF has been updated to V4.0 Does Mozilla have an ETA for Cache viewer that is made for FFV4.0

Also is there a reason why files in the cache have no extension(it would certainly make it easier to manually locate a cache file)

Thanks Toni

I think the files in the cache are randomly named for security reasons. Yes, it would be easier if they had real names.

In the short run, I think about:cache is your best bet for finding a file.

CacheViewer is an add-on, so the developer controls the release schedule. On the add-ons page for CacheViewer, someone said the latest "beta" version will work in Firefox 4 if you also install another add-on that lets you bypass compatibility checking. You may want to make regular backups before and during testing.
