I Downloaded beta, did not enjoy it as when i t, installed normal but still picks up on beta help

Hi i downloaded beta version, did not enjoy the fact when i forwarded or replied to messages it had long info unnecessary for my clients to see, uninstalled it , installed normal thunderbird, but it still picks up on beta. how do i stop this as its really long process to always have to delete forward info etc before sending.

Sounds like you were using full headers instead of normal. 'Menu icon' > 'View' > 'Headers' > 'Normal'

But if really want to get rid of thunderbird and reinstall a fresh.... Suggest you uninstall 'Mozilla Thunderbird' program. You can do via 'Control Panel' > 'Programs & Features' Select 'Mozilla thunderbird and click on uninstall button. Or navigate to where folder is stored , selct 'Mozilla Thunderbird' and click on 'Delete' If Windows 32 bit:

  • C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird

If windows 64 bit:

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird

Then download fresh copy from here, choosing preferd language and install.
