Thunderbird will not save sent emails in the sent emails folder.

I am new to thunderbird, I have set up all my accounts (3 IMAP and 2 Gmail) When I send a test email from my IMAP account to my gmail account it does arrive but it is not saving the email as sent in thunderbird. Please help or I will have to go back to Outlook *shudders* :(

The only error message I got was "Can not save to sent try again or cancel"

I managed to fix it by changing the server sessions catche from 5 to 1. I have no idea what other impacts this fix is having but it seems to work for now.
