Hello, yesterday i format my Lenovo G50-80 Laptop and reinstall windows 10 (home edition) then install Firefox . I forgot my account password so i reset my password and login to my Firefox account to syncing my bookmark, password and all . Every time if I format my laptop I do this and never face any problem but this time after login to my Firefox account I can't recover my bookmarks and passwords. it is my 11 years of bookmarks , kindly help me if possible , i don't gave any backup .

Resetting the password is a mistake because this causes all data on the Sync server to be deleted. This is because this password is used to encrypt your personal data locally with a sync key derived from this password before it is uploaded to the Sync server and only the original password or a recovery key can decrypt this data.

You can look for a possible C:\Windows.old folder that Windows might have been created. Otherwise I'm afraid that without a backup your bookmarks are lost.
