I upgraded from Ubuntu 10.10 to 11.04, and now Firefox 4 has no back, forward or home icons. The buttons are still there, but extremely small - to see them effectively, I have to set the toolbars to text mode which is less than ideal.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

You can try a to select a different icon pack via the Appearance settings in Gnome or KDE.

Thanks, that brought back the home button, but the back and forward are still AWOL. What a strange problem!
