Whenever I type anything into the url bar on mobile firefox it autofills my typing with websites I don't use and most of them I have never visited. Turning off browser.urlbar.autocomplete.enabled does nothing.

If you open the Firefox for Android menu and select Settings then Search, you can scroll down to see and turn off the search bar options.
