Hi I'm working on Smarttech.

I case of one investigation we develop bootstrap extension for Fennec. Now we need to hide bootstrap extension to avoid user to remove it. Is it possible hide it from this list or to disable the Uninstall option?

HI SmartMisha, Unfortunately there currently is not not a way to administer installing addons or extensions on mobile devices in Firefox. Find and Install Addons is the only feature that is currently implemented in the UI.

However I have seen that you can build Fennec with a mozconfig https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Fenne.../Android#Advanced_setup, but I am not sure if this is the same as the desktop config file.

Would this Extension not get blocklisted for such behavior?

Yes blocking the user from uninstalling your extension is something we will blocklist your extension for. I assume that this is for a custom setup in a closed environment such as a kiosk setup.
