Lost bookmarks from home page after shutting down because of something that appeared on my monitor that I couldn't delete. Have tried restoring by using troubleshooting without success. Can you help?
Went to bookmarks library...import and backup...and tried to backup and restore bookmarks menu. It didn't work...bookmarks menu missing from home page.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
THANKS FOR THE REPLIES, BUT I SOLVED THE PROBLEM. DID IT ACCIDENTALLY AND CAN'T EVEN TELL YOU HOW I DID IT.
