Every time I start Firefox it freezes and I have to wait until it snaps out of it, every time I click any address

Every time I open Firefox 4 it freezes, if I click anything again it says "(not responding)", I have to wait for it to snap out of it. If I click any web address it freezes again every time and I have to wait for it to unfreeze by it self. Please help.
