Gmail account stopped receiving emails couple weeks ago.

Two gmail accounts were fine (2 plus years) until a couple of weeks ago. Now, I get "server timed out" error. Reviewed gmail settings for imap--enabled, correct ports, correct incoming and outgoing.

Often this is a firewall / virus protection (VP) issue. After either a TB or a VP update VP doesnt recognize TB as a program to let thru. Or it starts to scan. This can result in a Time out, server didn't get greeting in time.
