[Fx61] Review for new Home settings panel ... and General panel changes

    I see a new Home panel in Firefox 61 Nightly when I click the cogwheel from the New Tab page: Image:Fx61Settings-HomePanel

    I'll set up a Needs change entry in the related KB articles, as I find them, to review and update as needed when Firefox 61 goes into Beta.

    I'll also post a thread in the KB articles forum since this affects multiple articles.

    I made the necessary changes and they are pending. I also made some changes to other articles that also pending approval.

    On your pending revision: The General panel also changed in Firefox 61. Here's an image from the KB articles thread I posted,

    The new General panel's Startup section no longer includes settings to change the Home page so "change what pages open when Firefox starts" now applies only to the Restore previous session article, not how to set the Home page.

    Home settings are now covered in the Home panel's New Windows and Tabs section so you need to link to How to set the Home page in the Home panel section for fx61. The Home panel's Firefox Home Content section should also link to New tab articles, such as New Tab page in Firefox and Customize your New Tab page to hide or display content.

    Hi Alice, can you explain to me why (after receiving the email notification of your last edits) if I go to the Italian edit page of the article I don't see your last revision for fx61?

    In the Contents (red and green differences) of the Italian edit page I read "[No differences found]", and the last edit/revision approved is your revision (id 159734) reviewed/approved on Apr 9, 2018

    Confirmed - apparently an email was sent, but it does not show up on the dashboard nor when clicking Edit.

    I just approved the empty edit by davidspriggs (that may have been intentional?) which apparently fixed it.

    As for changes in the Hide or display content in New Tab changes, also see here.
