I installed ublock origin. But it doesn't work now, where it used to work. If I click to go to its page, no web is loaded. Re-installing doesn't help. the same situation happends to other ad block add-ons.

Hi

From the information supplied with your question, I can see that you are using an older, unsupported, version of Firefox for Android. Have you tried updating to a currently supported version of Firefox for Android?

But after check for version, there's no more update available ( suggesting I am using the most recent).

Hi

Would I be correct in assuming that you are in China? Chinese legislation means that we are unable to make available content blocking add-ons such as uBlock.

I m Chinese but living in France at the moment. And the add-ons worked a few days ago ( and have worked well for a long time).

If you have set the Google Play store to provide the Chinese apps, you will still have the same issue.

You could set the app store to France, st the device language to Chinese and then try an update. Please appreciate that you would be updating from version 68 to version 110 if you use this method and bookmarks and other data may not be carried across when you update.

This is exactly my current situation. The region is unchangable and already France (automatically decided by IP), and the language is also unchangable. But google store regardlessly still provide the version 68. I tried to find apk download on github and found no source other than google store. So I have gone to a 3nd source site and have downloaded the version 110. Ça marche (it works). Anyway, thank you.

No problem. You may be better using a version from Mozilla. You can find these at:

Thanks. Now I'm kind of aware of where to find updates.
