Hi!

Have you tried to finish typing the email address and wait for a couple of seconds? The validation takes a little time and it's not really clear. Ignore the message until you have introduced your email completely.

If you are reusing the email that could be also a problem. Make sure the email address you are using is new and it hasn't been used for Firefox Sync before.
