Firefox no longer shows pictures or other graphics; other browsers work OK.
Until recently Firefox worked fine. A few days ago, it stopped showing photos, maps, etc. I thought it was the Internet connection (I was on travel), but Google Chrome showed images and other graphics just fine. I tried updating from Firefox 3.xx to 6.xx, but that didn't help, either (I don't like the looks of Firefox 7). Please help. If not, I will have to stop using Firefox as my default browser, which I would not like to do.

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
- Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
- Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
- Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
- Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).
If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.
Thanks, cor-el. Load images automatically was not checked, so I checked it and everything worked fine as before. The question now is how did the box get unchecked? I never looked at the content tab before your solution, so I did not uncheck the box myself. Maybe you experts can figure it out. I appreciate your help. --Dave
You're welcome
An extension/theme or security software may have made the change if it was the global setting.
Thanks for your help...that did the trick. I can see all my images again!!! Now both my PC and MAC are updated finally! Thanks again.
